I know that there's a plugin that lets you chop down a tree by just hitting the bottom block but I'm not sure if thats a good idea for this server or not. On one hand it would make getting wood easier and less of a grind, however its probably not worth adding in as its not that hard to cut down a tree and could cause issues with lag or conflict with other addons

Yeah basically what Hamster has said, it's not too hard to chop down trees. Plus it would make getting wood super quick but then make it super easy to then sell and make loads of money.
